Come see the lab.
Incutec works from a room inside Maakleerplek, a public makerspace in Leuven. We prototype in its HighTechLab, on the same machines any member can use. The lab is open to everyone during open lab hours, so come by.

Maakleerplek and us
Maakleerplek is a non-profit public workshop in the Vaartkom in Leuven, with a textile lab, a print lab, a tool library, a canteen and the HighTechLab. Incutec's founding meeting was held there, in the loft, in April 2026.
We have used the HighTechLab's 3D printers, CNC and laser cutter for OpenDrone prototypes since 2025. Since June 2026 Incutec also has its own room in the building, under a written agreement with Maakleerplek vzw. Our founder volunteers in the HighTechLab, and we took part in Maakleerfest 2026.
Why a makerspace
Open hardware is more than published files. Someone has to be able to pick up the design and make it, with tools they can actually get to. Working in a public lab keeps us honest about that: if we can prototype it here, so can you.
It also means you can walk in and ask. Bring a board, a broken frame or a question: the Incutec team works in the same building as the lab. For how the company and the community split the work, read Open Source.
The HighTechLab

YoungMakerLab
YoungMakerLab is the HighTechLab's programme for young makers, with sessions on Wednesday afternoons and Sunday mornings. See Maakleerplek for how to join.
Getting there
Buses 2, 6 and 30 stop close by at Vaartkom. The building has a lift on every floor.
Come by during open lab hours and ask for the OpenDrone team.
